Okay so it's been months so let's catch up shall we!
We met and things went lovely at the doc appt in Atlanta.
We are in the final stages of contracts ready for signatures.
I am halfway through the IVF calendar of meds.
We are looking at a transfer date of Nov 19-22!!!
Things are going great!
Started Estrogen tabs today!

Getting closer

So we are running into a time crunch. We have been scrambling all day to find an attorney here in IL who can make sure the contract is in compliance with IL statutes. For the next week we are really going to be busy. We have a teleconference with the psychologist tomorrow and I will also be speaking with the lawyer we found. Then first thing Monday morning we board the plane for Atlanta where we will meet with the Attorney the IP's have in GA and the next day we have our appt at the clinic!! after that we will hopefully have the go ahead to start meds and so a calendar will be not far behind.

Everything is really coming together now. School will be starting soon. I will be going back as well as my husband and the kids. I will only be working half-time at the school I work at. So we have a lot going on right now and it is all exciting. The new house is right around the corner from my sisters house so that will be fun for us and our kids. the oldest are 9 and 10 and are old enough to travel to 2 blocks between houses. It will also be a help once I am pregnant to have close by support. I guess we will see what happens with that tomorrow. Till then

We're getting closer to our meeting. We're talking contracts and cycles and c-sections... Yes I will need a c-section as all my other children have been born that way. Soooo I just spoke with K and we are trying to figure out when we will be able to cycle. given all the ED tests come back fine which I think they will. We also were talking about the complexities of the contract seeing as though it involves different states with different laws. but we are pretty sure Illinois law has jurisdiction since the baby will be born here. We will be having our appt. exactly 2 weeks from today!!!! I am trying to find enough in these next 2 wks to keep me busy and make time go by fast. The kids are in summer camp and school will be starting before you know it. Here's to things going quickly.

Change of plans...

So it's Sunday and we didn't get to meet with the pschologist, there was a schedualing conflict that forced us to pushed the appt back to the 29th. Which is fine it will still be done in plenty of time ahead of our trip. Speaking of trip we officially have our flight plans. We will be leaving Monday morning and returning tuesday night. Hopefully we will have more details for everything else when I return.

Tomorrow is the day we meet on the phone to talk to the psychologist. I am not worried at all. It's just a little exciting. K said all she will be looking for really is to see how we interact with each other. I don't see that as a problem as we get along so well and we just naturally click. we sit and talk for an hour or more and just laugh and joke and it's really easy going, not forced or fake, which is really important to both of us because this is a long process, and we would both be miserable if we weren't totally comfortable with each other. So after this we will be one day closer to being cleared to takeoff. I am still engrossed in "Baby Week" on Discovery Health. it's so addictive. I have decided to get rid of a ton of stuff out of my house. i am having a quarter sale, a huge Yard sale where everything is only .25. it's the alterative to trahing it all (which I hate to do, and would wreak havok on my garbage bill) or give it all away. I really don't feel u to loading it all up and taking it to goodwill. So we will see how this goes. I am looking forward to the extra space and a few buksLOL. Whatever doesn't sell will be givin away. till tomorrow!!!!!

Woo Hooo Psych Appt.This Week!!!!!!!!!!

I talked to K yesterday. We had a good chat. she also told me that the Psychologist that she works with will be out of town on the days that we are planning to come down there. :( However she agreed to do the interview over the phone! THIS WEEK!! So Thursday we will have a conference call and then that part will be over and give us one less thing to do in Atlanta next month. By the time we have that appt. out of the way we will only have about 2 weeks till travel and meeting in person. Time is moving at an alright pace not as fast as I want it too but not unbearably slow either. I have become addicted to baby shows again and I am not even pregnant yet. I have alot to get done around the house this week too. So I will check back in later !!

Lions, and Tigers, and Bears....oh my !!

This weekend has been a whirl and I am so happy to be back at home and very soon to be in my bed. On Saturday we took the kiddies to the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago. Since the Zoo is FREE every day for everyone, I expected it to be kinda small or not have as many animal as some of the more expensive zoo's. However I was pleasantly surprised. They had all the animals you would expect. Me personally, I was looking for the lions as they are my favorite... and there they were in all their royal majestic wonderfulness!! They really reminded me of our cats at home. The Tigers were next and were awesome as well as the Bears! We got there kinda late in the day so we didn't get to see nearly as much as we would like to, but since it was free we will come back another day. It started to rain so the kids weren't too sad about leaving.

I can't believe July is almost half way over. Pretty soon we will have travel plans and be meeting my IP's in Atlanta!! I will probably call K tomorrow for any updates and to just catch up! till then.......
